This workshop introduces a conceptual model for education centered on the dynamic interplay between autonomy and homonomy as core expressions of physis—the inherent human drive toward growth, development, and self-realization. Developed by the trainer and featured in an upcoming book on Educational Transactional Analysis, the model offers a practical and reflective framework for understanding learning as a relational and systemic process. Drawing on Transactional Analysis, participants will explore how awareness, spontaneity, intimacy, and shared responsibility are cultivated within educational contexts shaped by group dynamics, culture, and structure. Through an experiential approach, the workshop invites practitioners to examine how learning environments can support both individuality and interdependence, fostering conditions in which authentic development can emerge within the ongoing relationship between self, others, and the wider world.

Traian Bossenmayer, MSc, is a TSTA (Trainer and Supervisor in Transactional Analysis) in the field of Management & Organisational Development and an Executive Coach. He brings over 20 years of experience in delivering training, leadership development initiatives, and consulting across a wide range of business contexts. Currently, he serves as HR Director for a multinational gaming company, overseeing studios in Romania and Spain.

He is a lecturer in the MSc Organizational Transactional Analysis program at the Berne Institute in the UK, in partnership with Middlesex University, and maintains a steady interest in how Transactional Analysis supports learning and development within educational settings.

At his core, Traian has always been deeply interested in understanding human behavior and interactions, especially those taking place in communities, groups, and organizations. He is passionate about facilitating change within teams by encouraging authentic contact through meaningful conversations, and he supports growth in a thoughtful, caring, and enthusiastic way.
