Living and growing in an increasingly complex world
At present we are confronted with situations we would never had
predicted or expected – the health crises of Covid-19, the climate
changes and the political situation in many countries of the world is
disturbing us.
We can no longer avoid to confront ourselves with some existential
questions and decisions.
We can no longer avoid reflections how to lead meaningful and happy
lives dispite all these circumstances
This concerns deeply the way how we understand and apply our TA
philosophy, the Ethic guidelines we have and how we understand and
apply the TA models.
We have to deal with the following questions:
How can we stimulate resilience and processes for a “good” life?
What do people need to develop and to build resilience in this always
becoming more complex world?
How can we follow our principles of respect and mutuality when there are
people and political systems which are marked by violence, terror and
destruction.
How can we develop respect and humility for our environment and the
planet?
How and in which way have Professionals and Tainers to include the
complexity and the changes of the world in their professional and
training process?
How and in which way can the philosophy and the models of TA support
and stimulate these processes?
I will not give answers to this questions – my aim is to stimulate
questions, thinking and discussions. Everybody has to deal with these
question individually and in contact with his personal, situation, his
relationships and responsibilities. Culture, community and environment
are additional influences.. If we discuss these questions, if we exchange
our ideas and thinking we can use the synergy of our competences,
experiences and knowledge. So we will manage the challenges of today
to build as best conditions for tomorrow.
