-Nordic perspectives
Join CTA-P transactional analyst and art therapist Miira Matara and PTSTA-P transactional analyst, trauma psychotherapist Ritva Piiroinen for a 90-minute interactive online workshop at TA Nordics.
Delve into the ancient Greek concept of physis—the innate life force driving growth, wholeness, and self-actualization, as conceptualized by Eric Berne in transactional analysis. Together, we’ll explore how this dynamic energy manifests in our daily lives, ego states, and personal development, blending theory, metaphors, and group reflection.
Rooted in a Nordic sensibility, this workshop also weaves in reflections on inner “home” and psychological interiors—how we create spaces of safety, simplicity, and authenticity within ourselves, much like the calm, functional beauty of Nordic design. Drawing inspiration from the quiet strength often associated with Nordic happiness, we will explore how connection to self, others, and environment supports sustainable wellbeing.
We will also touch on resilience through a Nordic lens: the capacity to endure, adapt, and grow through darkness and light alike. Through experiential exercises and shared inquiry, participants are invited to sense how physis moves within them as a restoring, regulating force—supporting integration, vitality, and a deeper sense of aliveness.
This workshop is an invitation to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with your natural developmental flow—individually and in community.
