Compassion, hidden truths, non-intuitive choices, and liberation from the injunctive messages

In this workshop we will look at how Injunctive Messages (IMs) interfere with the natural growth (physis) of the human being.  The IMs have power only because they are “believed falsehoods.”  We will discuss how to accurately diagnose each of the twenty-five IMs and their destructive effects. This is vital because a person cannot change what he or she does not know about. Then we will look at the “Hidden Truths” that can release their hold on our natural development and how to practice new behaviors to create new habits while also replacing parental voices that were complicit with the IMs with a new parental voice that is protective, loving, smart and compassionate. We will look at how these IMs arrest development in five vital areas: Survival, Attachment, Identity, Competence and Security. The goal is to supply each individual with the knowledge and tools needed in order to choose life rather than repeated destructive habits.
